Back from the Northwest

March 18th, 2012 - 2:30 PM

Ciao! Back from another excellent trip out to Oregon. Weather was mighty fine, and so were the skateparks. Met up with team rider Jeff Rasp and his buddies for an all day session in Portland. Started the day at a rad DIY set up called the Brooklyn street skate spot. Check out the spot and help with their fundraising efforts here.

After being shown a good time by the locals at the Brooklyn bowl, we headed out to Ed Benedict skate plaza for some more concrete. Super smooth park with lines for days. Ran into some old friends, and made some new ones. Shout out to the Ed Benedict crew and thanks for the good session Portland!

Creating a new board graphic is an incredibly exciting process, both for the artist and board company. During the trip, I was able to meet up with Portland artist, Theo Ellsworth. Theo has designed two graphics for the Spring/Summer board series, which will be available in a few months! The image proofs should be ready in a week, so stay tuned for those. In the meantime, check out his website, Thought Cloud Factory and blog. Stay hyped!

Space cadet, It is with great enthusiasm that we present to you the new site! V 2.0 would hardly be as stylish or functional if it weren't for the incredible help of good friend Bobby Sims. Please check out Sims Kreativ to see some of his other work.
