This past weekend, Caravan crew met up in Chicago for the All City Showdown event, hosted by Uprise skate shop. Honestly, All City may be one the coolest events in the skate scene these days. The premise is a bunch of skate crews hit the city for one day, and all the footage from each crew is compiled into a dvd. Aside from the fact that some epic skating went down in Chicago all on the same day, it was great to see the entire skate scene meet up at one spot. Great vibes all around Chicago!
Caravan riders were in the mix, no doubt! Steffen Watts & Brooks Shuping killed it with their teams. Caravan homies from Cleveland made the trip to the Chi, & ripped all day. Thanks for making the trip out - Andrew, Dustin, Dakota & Jake!
Can't wait to see all the homies & footage at the premier in December!
The September/October issue of Focus Skate mag hit shops this week! Stop by your local skate shop to snag a print copy. If you don't live on the East Coast, no worries. Focus Mag is now digital!! See below to view.
There are two Caravan ads in this issue, which show a sneak peak of new board graphics to come!
City Series: Chicago & New York City.
Stay tuned for a new catalog which will debut the graphics. Cheers!
The Chicago skate scene is one of the best, yet it receives little coverage in print and digital skate media. DEEP DISH CHI is a collaborative project showcasing the talent, culture and aesthetic of Chicago skateboarding.
Today, Deep Dish released a 20 minute video presentation of Chicago's finest. The promo is up above, and the full video can be viewed on DeepDishChi.com
Steffen Watts has a solid section, shredding Chicago from day to night. The master of camera, Mark Dunning, is behind the lens and edited the video. Mark, you nailed it!
Accompanying the video is a photo booklet from the collaborations other half, Matthew Gamalinda. Truly great portraits of the skate scene in Chicago. The booklet also includes photos from the Deep Dish video premier. Deep Dish Photo booklet
The latest issue of Depressed Midwest hit the web the other day. If you haven't heard of this mag before, check out the above link and see why you will add Alec Ozawa's issuu page to your favorites. The photography is on point and the skating is pure.
In this issue, Steffen Watts has a photo section! Flip through the mag to see the Mid-west shred.
We are proud to announce The Shack Board Shop and Surf Shop South is stocking Caravan boards!
Growing up in NJ, I spent a good deal of time at the states' beaches. In particular, Long Beach Island was the home base for most of my summer youth. As many of you know, Hurricane Sandy damaged a large portion of the states' coast. It took the effort of many individuals to stay strong, and bring back the easy going spirit of the shore. The guys at the Shack board shop did just that. When their surf shop on LBI was affected by the storm, they held tight and opened a skate shop on the mainland to keep serving the Skate & Surf community. Before you hop on the causeway to LBI, say whats up to the gentlemen at The Shack! Thanks for the good vibes. Cheers,
Greetings all! It is with great joy that we announce Home Skate Shop is now carrying Caravan boards! Home has been supporting the Louisville skate scene for over 15 years, and is skater owned and operated. Summary - this is a rad shop that you should support! For additional info, check out the Caravan stockist page.
Also included in their package were a few decks for a soon to be announced member of the Caravan family.. Stay tuned for that!
Wanted to share two photos that really brightened my day! The top photo was spotted on the instagram of a Caravan fan. Watch out for the lens! @MrPurrp
The latter pic is of my best friend reppin Caravan! If you use instagram, follow @caravanskateboards for skateboarding, street art, and lifestyle shots from the crew.
Two weeks ago, we posted about Austin England's art show in LA, Friends Stick Together. I wasn't able to make it in person, but the fine folks at Vans Art shot some photos and posted them for us to enjoy! Rad artwork and good friends = A good time!
Skateboarding has introduced me to many of my lifelong friends. I am always thankful to be involved with such an awesome community. Good friend of Caravan, Austin England, is hosting a show in Los Angeles this upcoming Saturday. The show is called Friends Stick Together, and will have works by a bunch of talented amigos! Scope the event's facebook page here.
Continuing with the theme of friendship, I would like to wish Sarge Collelo a happy birthday! The celebration was on point with a ramp jam. Epic session all!

This month, Caravan and friends have been traveling North and South in California. The beginning of the month started with a trip up to San Francisco from LA. Nothing beats cruising hills all day in one of the most scenic cities. Good friend of Caravan, Felipe Gouveia, launched an epic ollie to wallride during the trip. Thanks to Mission Skate shop for stocking Caravan!
Last weekend, the compass pointed South, and San Diego was the final destination. The early morning beach cruises, sunset surfing, and late night tacos contribute to the paradise that is San Diego. Extra special thank you to Quay, Garrett, and the SD crew for extending such hospitality! Another large thank you to the skate shops we chilled at: Route 44, Pacific Drive, and Grandeur (in Oceanside)!
Thanks for being patient while we were traveling. June will be a big month for Caravan... Stay tuned!

Rob has been riding with the Caravan crew since it's earliest days in NJ. Two years later, Rob brings raw energy and stoke to each session, and always keeps a positive attitude. Earlier this morning, he sent me a clip for Caravan and Underground skate shop. After watching this edit, you will wish he made a second part. Don't fret! This is just Rob Miceli's Spring warm up. Enjoy
The past month, Caravan relocated to Los Angeles for some winter weather reprieve. During this time, we have been busy skating and working hard on our next board series. Big things will be happening in the coming months, so get pumped!
Finally got the camera out at a recent session, and was able put together a little cruise clip of the neighborhood spots. Enjoy A Day in LA with Caravan! Filming and editing by Danny Bezinovich.
This Friday, Caravan's Cleveland connection will be premiering a skate video titled First Impressions, at Westside skate shop. The film, by Andrew Koszkalda, has parts from a bunch of rippers from in and around Clevelana. Each person who buys a dvd ($5) will be entered for a chance to win a fresh Caravan board! Thats a nice bonus gift.
Support local skateboarding and check this video out!
Hey all, hope everyone is having a pleasant weekend. We've got some news and footage out of NJ for ya. Rob Miceli, Caravan and Underground Skate shop rider has recently put out a web part of footage from 2012. Footage quality looks like '98, but the skating is timeless!
In other news, Underground skate shop is switching up locations this month. The Drop-In location is now closed, and a new store will be opening in March. Stay tuned for details on the opening. Cheers,
The Caravan winter road trip sadly had to come to an end.. However, it is with great joy that we can share with you a video feature! Today's video presentation showcases great skating and a few of the fine moments from our trip. DISCLAIMER: NO STAIRS WERE SKATED IN THIS FILM.
Special thanks to the shops that helped us out with spots and good vibes along the way: Humidity in New Orleans, LA; Fidna in Baton Rouge, LA; No Comply in Austin, TX; and The Blocks in Tucson, AZ. An extra special thank you to Abe Z for the fine filming, editing and skating. An extra extra special thank you to Danny Bezinovich, Dylan Roeder and Abe Zverow for being some of the finest people I know. It is always a good time in the company of these gentlemen. Without further ado, enjoy the show!
Great times were had by all at the Can't Skate Here premier at Villany this past weekend. A ton of people showed up to support their local skate scene and shop, as one can see from the photo. Prior to the video, there was a photography show. To see some more photos from the event, check out this link. A special thanks to Anders Nordlow, who put together the video. Another special thanks to Terrence at Villany for hosting the event. You guys help move the scene forward!
It is our pleasure to announce that Villany is now stocking boards!! More info on the stockists page.
The rest of the weekend was spent cruising around L.A. The L.A high banks are much steeper in person than they look on video. Don't be fooled by the skill of the rider! All these photo's were up on our instagram page first. Follow us @caravanskateboards to see photos live from the scene! Cheers!
Happy Saturday all. If you are in the Los Angeles area, there is a video premier tonight in Pasadena at the one and only Villany Skate Shop. There will be a photo gallery at 7pm before the video. Gonna be a real treat!
Last night the skate community showed up to back local artist/skater, Austin England, at his gallery event, GNARBUNCKLE. Sometime next week we will show a few more photos from the show. Major thank you to Austin, Brian, Ashley and all the homies. Good vibes for you!
Hey all, since our last update we have stopped to skate in Austin, Texas, and Tucson and Phoenix, Arizona. First stop in Austin was the infamous No Comply Skate Shop. Celebrating its 6-year anniversary tomorrow, we wish them good health and many more years of stoke! We are so thrilled to announce that No Comply is stocking Caravan boards! More info can be found on the The Blocks skate shop in Tucson and all the other homies we skated with. Be on the look out for an edit!
